Dignitaries present at the conference were Dr. Daniel George Udo, AG Provost of the College. Dr. Affiong Isok, Chairman of the Occasion. Prof. Nse Essien, Commissioner for Education AKS, ably represented by Dr. Kingsley Ekwere. Rt. Hon. Godwin Ekpo, Chairman House Committee on Education, represented by Mr. Iniobong Atia.

Mrs. Regina Ikpatt, Chairman Governing Council of the College, highly represented by Dr. Theresa Ekanem. Dr. Gloria Inyang, Dean School of Languages. Rt. Hon. Felicia Bassey, Deputy Speaker Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and other important personalities that were present to grace the occasion.

AG Provost Dr. Daniel Udo, the number citizen of the college warmly welcome everybody into the conference.. “Conference is a fundamental exercise to update and educate both staff and students in a particular learning milieu”.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, AFAHA NSIT, HOLDS ITS 30TH NCE AND 3RD DEGREE STUDENTS’ MATRICULATION CEREMONY ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8TH, 2021

The Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit is set for the 30th NCE and 3rd Degree Students Matriculation on Friday October 8th, 2021.

The ceremony will take place at the College Sports Ground by 11 am.

A statement issued by the College Registrar, Barrister Augustine Etim Udoibit, indicates that the Provost, Dr. Daniel G. Udo has, on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, Staff and Students invited the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Idongesit Etiebet as Chairman of the Matriculation Ceremony.

Matriculating students are hereby advised to collect their matriculation gowns at the Bursary Department of the College on presentation of evidence of payment at designated banks. Parents, guardians of the matriculating students and lovers of the college are also invited to witness the ceremony.

The statement also, advises all to abide strictly by the COVID-19 protocols
