The school management hosted an orientation programme for the newly admitted students of the institution to enlighten them about the necessity of being in school (tertiary institution) precisely and what is expected of them by the parents, lecturers, institution and the society at large.
The AG Provost of the College, Dr. Daniel George Udo, who was ably represented by the deputy provost academics, congratulated all the new students who have been offered admission into this prestigious citadel of learning. “Many people wrote JAMB but it is not all of them that are privileged to gain admission into tertiary institutions but you are all fortunate to be admitted here. So it is the will of God that you are here in this college”, she said. She also told the students to make effective use of their opportunities so that they can have something to say about their years in school.
Finally, the Dean of Student’s Affairs, Dr. Eno-obong Akpan also welcome the entire fresher’s into the College. He told them that the school gate is open for them which means that the college have fully accepted the, also urged the students to be serious and zealous towards their academic activities so as to achieve their aims in this school. The entire fresher’s are highly welcome to College of Education, Afaha Nsit.
