In furtherance of his determination to reposition the only State-owned Teachers Training College, Provost of Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit, Dr. Daniel George Udo, in a little over a year in office has delivered a fully-functional certified Computer Based Test (CBT) centre, one of the best in the State and accredited examination centre for the SSEB teacher 2021 recruitment.
The CBT centre is also a certified centre for Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB and any other examination(s).
Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the college, Mrs. Victoria Uwah, was on hand to conduct the Provost round the centre, who was at the centre to ensure the level of the centre readiness as 2021 SSEB teacher recruitment examination commenced.
The four halls are fully air-conditioned with 287 functional system, three (3) servers, server room and thirty-two (32) functional CCTV cameras mounted at strategic locations.
This is a testament that COE Provost, Dr Daniel George Udo is working.
