BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LIBRARY

History

The College Library and its holdings were inherited from the defunct Teacher Training College (TTC) in 1991 with the establishment of the College of Education, Afaha Nsit.  The College Library was expanded in 2002 to accommodate close to 300 students. After 20 years of existence, the Library was relocated to a designated building provided by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) in 2011 opposite the Administrative building with a sitting capacity of 800.

The major aim of the library is to support the teaching, learning and research purposes of the College. To achieve the objective of the College, the Library provides reading materials and essential services for the benefit of students and staff.
