The demise of the late Pa Gabriel Nkanang, father of His Excellency, Mr Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has continued to attract sympathizers from all walks of life all over the world.

The latest is coming from Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit when Dr. Daniel Udo, Acting Provost of the institution on Monday, February 10th led members of the management staff on a condolence visit to Sympathize with Governor Udom Emmanuel, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

Recall, late Pa Gabriel Nkanang answered the clarion call on Sunday 1st December, 2019 and will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in his country home, Awa Iman, Onna Local Government Area.

Describing the departed nonagenarian as a teacher and community builder of great repute, Dr. Udo while speaking at the visit prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost and sued for the eternal reposed of the soul of the deceased.

He also added that Pa Nkanang was a man of no mean repute with a charismatic elderstateman who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the society which his legacies will continue to stand the taste of time and will not be blown away by the winds of time.

Dr. Daniel Udo on behalf of the Governing Council, Management Staff, Students and the entire college community presented an official portrait in memorial of the departed patriarch to His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel and other members of the bereaved family.

In attendance were the Deputy Provost Administration, Dr King Ibritam, Deputy Provost, Academic, Dr Esther Andrew, Bursar, Mr Inibehe Ekpor, Director Medical Services, Dr Christopher Akpan and Directorate of Information, Dr Michael Ebiekpe among others.
